We're excited to have Secretary-Treasurer Nicole Rhine join the podcast this week to break down important info about what to expect as preparations begin for next year's biennial convention. It will be here before you know it! The 2024 National Convention may be many months away, but there are some important processes and steps that start as early as October. Tune in to learn more, and be sure to keep an eye on Nicole's column in the Postal Record as we get closer to next summer's convention in Boston, MA.
As always, stick around for the Ask the Mailbag segment at the end of the episode, where Brian and Ed will dive into your questions about things like uniform allowances, signing up for benefits when converting to a career position, and more.

I agree....the least the Union can do is abolish the 2nd tier pay scale. Especially with the success of the new UPS contract and other unions making great strides for their employees they represent.

So, how is the new pay structure going to benefit me a regular carrier that has been carrier for over 5 years and a cca for 3.5 years before that. Even if I’m able to buy back my time at some point in the future, I’m still behind by 4 steps, and at least 2 steps with the current cca positions of 2 yrs off non career service.
