In late November, more than 1,000 letter carrier activists representing branches across the United States gathered in New Orleans to take part in NALC’s 2023 National Conference. On this week's episode, President Renfroe shares some of the major highlights from the Rap Session. These important announcements and updates included topics such as contract negotiations, crimes against carriers, heat safety, improving representation, legislation and politics, and new initiatives. To allow adequate time to discuss some of these topics in-depth, this recap has been divided into two parts. Be sure to tune in next week for the second half of this discussion! For additional information, members can also reach out to their state and branch leadership who attended the Rap Session.
